Welcome to the newly launched portal of poetry section of Teachers of Bihar – “Padhya Pankaj”. It is a portal associated with poems where teachers can play with their creativity and artistry of words and imagination combined with emotions and rhythm to form poems.
“Padhya Pankaj” is a platform for teachers designed in a way to share innovations and best practices to directly benefit the education of students.It is the pavement to enhance the poetic quality in the teachers of Bihar and bring the best artistry out of them.
Poetry is the oldest form of literature and has a rich written and oral tradition. Indian poetry and Indian literature have a long history dating back to Vedic times. Due to diverse nature of India, Indian poetry has been written in numerous languages. There are several poets who have contributed a lot in the Indian poetry like Kalidasa , Rahim, Kabir, Tulsidas and the Persian- Indian poet Amir Khusro. However the 19th and 20th century has seen the emergence of several towering figures in Indian poetry which include Mirza Ghalib, Rabindranath Tagore, Sarojini Naidu and Mahadevi Verma who have taken Indian poetry to new heights.
