an anchor for youngsters
a road map to truthfulness
an easy inspiration
Truthful mirror,
in this era of rampant greed
widespread violence
runaway consumption
political anarchism
widespread disparities
religious fanaticism,
Seven decades later
that frail looking man
in easy blood and bone
is still an easy answer
because the greatness
of that man was his simplicity
away from modern days
hassles and complicity
but we have to try
and discover a bit
of Gandhi in ourselves
and inculcate and extend
his way of life all around
to find people around
the axis and globe
living peaceful and sound.
