Land So Dear
Land so Vast and Wide
Diverse culture side by side
From Himalayas so high and bright
To Kanyakumari in morning light
People so friendly and kind
Hands so helping, love one of a kind;
From north to south,we unite
Outright love for nation, shining bright.
Festivals come with colours so bold
Eid and Diwali,stories to be told;
We have one of the seven wonders to see
Spices and foods,flavouring with glee.
Our plateaus so rich,to beaches so fine
Love for each other, have forever shine;
Kerala’s backwaters,we sway
We appreciate in our inevitable way.
Every bhangra step,our love gleam
Bollywood dreams,makes thousand hearts beam;
We dance under stars,in metropolis night
With pure heart, each heart takes flight.
The Scent of jasmine,in the night so fair
Our love blossoms, with personal care;
The Ganges waves a gentle hush
Whispers secrets , of god’s sweet rush.
In India’s vibrant hues, respect grow
A bond so strong, everybody know;
Together we explore,land so dear
We will cherish our nation, unending years.
